The White Dragon Princess, daughter of the white (silver) dragon duke Carl Lindwurm, is the savior of the protagonist Lectival. She found him adrift on the beach and has tended to his health as he recovered. Meriela is kind and loving, but she is also a well trained magic user and overall strict when it comes to anything concerning Lectival. She has all but fallen for him and is per draconic norms his fiancé and personal dragon through the forming of the magical rider contract. She is unwavering in her love and at times displays controlled outbursts of jealousy.
