During the Battle of Wansteidt, Appleton and the 8th Fleet successfully disengaged from the Mecklinger Fleet but sustained 30% losses. During the Battle of Amritsar, Krishna sustained a fatal hit and fell towards the Amritsar star. Appleton went down with his ship.
