He was originally going to be the 'God' of the manga but ended up becoming a guardian, which is why he's always seen in fancy clothing. He is a 'defense' type Komainu. For a long time he's only protected and defended, so he's not very good at attacking opponents. His original form is a white dog but is able to transform into a human.
