A figure of the Prototype Digimon "DORU Series", experimented on in search of further evolutions, that achieved its ultimate form through "Death-X-Evolution". It is called the "Digicore Predator" because its own activity is dependent on the Digicores of other Digimon, and is nothing but a threat to them. By continuously preying on the Digicores of other Digimon, it is active despite its deceased condition, and since it stores vast amounts of Digicore information within its body, its entire body is covered in restraints, and so it is barely able to function as a single Digimon.
In Digimon X-Evolution , after it had ordered Magnamon of the Royal Knights to captures Dorugamon and bring him to it, Yggdrasill analyzed Dorugamon's data and created Death-X Dorugoramon from it. From there, Death-X Dorugoramon created hundreds of Digitama containing Death-X Doruguremon. It was later confronted by Alphamon and Omegamon when it was summoned by Yggdrasill. Although Omegamon barely hurt it, Alphamon easily destroyed it with a single attack.
It was later revived by Yggdrasill as Death-X-mon to defend it. While Omegamon lacks the strength to meaningfully fight Death-X-mon, Alphamon—having manifested his Ultimate Battle-Blade Ouryuken—realizes that the same damage he inflicts on Death-X-mon is also incurred unto himself. Realizing what this means, Alphamon impales both himself and Death-X-mon on Ouryuken, explaining to Omegamon that it was the only way; Death-X-mon, having ultimately been created from Dorumon's data, is his shadow. The two dying Digimon then recombine into an unconscious Dorumon, ending Death-X-mon's threat.
