The main protagonist of the show. Baron is a swordsman affected by the curse of Kazan, which causes people to form a demonic arm hence earning them the title of "Demon Swordsman" which causes fear and discontent in the general populace. While seemingly contemplating suicide, he meets a sword that has a spirit of a Demon Swordsman of the past named Roxy, who offers to train him and help him find a way to overcome his curse. It is hinted at that nobody else but Baron can see her. Despite being an outcast of society due to his arm, Baron is a seemingly righteous individual, even going so far as to help his would be captors in episode one to fight off an impending attack of monsters.
