He became increasingly frustrated by Izzy and Cara's indecisiveness, and often required Johanna's input to make a final decision. He hired Team Rocket to fish for Goldeen so that they could be used for a fishing game during the festival. However, Sayer was disappointed by their efforts and eventual disappearance in A Faux Oak Finish!. In <i>Historical Mystery Tour!</i>, Sayer had Brock run one of his booths after one of the stallholders fell ill.
