However, he was defeated by her and eliminated from the tournament. He made a cameo appearance in <i>Goodbye, Junior Cup - Hello Adventure!</i>, where he lined up with all the other competitors in front of Alder, Cynthia, Caitlin, and Freddy O'Martian. In <i>Curtain Up, Unova League!</i>, Ramone competed in the Vertress Conference. In <i>Mission: Defeat Your Rival!</i>, he appeared on the screen showing the match-ups for the second round of the Conference, meaning he had made it through the first round. In Lost at the League!, he appeared once again on the screen of the Vertress Conference, now showing the match-ups for the last sixteen, meaning that he had made it through the second and third rounds. In <i>Strong Strategy Steals the Show!</i>, it was revealed he had made it through the fourth round as well. In the quarterfinals, he battled Antonio and won.
