Monica is a character of the day who appeared in <i>Hungry for the Good Life!</i>. She is the housekeeper of Mr. Backlot's mansion and Trophy Garden estate. Monica first encountered Ash and his friends while she was in the process of catching a Cleffa that escaped Mr. Backlot's mansion. Afterwards, she took them back to the mansion to get out of a storm and meet Mr. Backlot. They also met all of the Pokémon that Monica cares for. She makes Poffins for them to eat. After Team Rocket nabbed the group and Mr. Backlot's Pokémon, Monica drove them directly to the Rocket trio's location.
