Kamanari (lit. Ringing Kettle) is a flying youkai. In the 1996 anime, Kamanari's body is translucent and is dark purple. He has a single eye which has a dark purple pupils and white sclerae. He has a pair of arms with five digits, a patch of dark purple short hair that blends with his skin and a wispy tail. Within the 2007 anime, Kamanari is small purple spirit-like Youkai, having an eye with a red pupil.
