Dr. Zero is the main antagonist of the <i>Robot Poncots</i> manga series. He also appears in the video games <i>Robot Poncots 64</i> and <i>Robot Poncots 2</i> for Game Boy Advance. The "Greatest 1", Dr. Zero is a leading authority on Robopon research, who is ranked alongside Dr. Head. He has a ruthless and cruel personality, seeing Robopon as nothing more than "useful tools". Zero staged a coup d'état 20 years ago and was considered dead, but his body was mechanized and revived in the present day. The mechanical part in his left shoulder can generate a circular barrier around him as a shield, and he can manipulate a mirror with strange powers that go beyond science to seal targets within it. He is also capable of flying with jets from his legs and blinding with a flash of light from his left hand. In the Greatest Battle against Yuusuke held at his castle, the Castle Zero, he use his Robopon Megalo ability to stop Robomaru's "heart" and manipulate it, forcing Robomaru transform into the evil RoboZero, but he is eventually defeated by Robomaru, who regains his sanity through persuasion. However, in his final struggle, Zero's castle collapses and he disappears once again.
