Leader is one of the children who makes up the Sleuths gang, and the grandson of the island's chief of police. He hates the Japanese, whom he accuses of bombing the island and stripping it of its resources. He has a large scar on the left side of his face from a landmine that went off near him, and takes a liking to Beluna after seeing hers. He believes that the Hotel is haunted by ghosts, and sometimes sneaks in to look for them.
