Ginsen is the daughter of the wolf clan, and Tsuwabuki's older stepsister. She looks down on Tsuwabuki and calls him "Fido". When the mountain god asks for a marriage partner from the wolf clan, she refuses and has Tsuwabuki sent in her place, eager to get rid of him. Her spoiled and selfish attitude draws the displeasure of the servants who have to deal with her whims. It all comes to a head after a period of starvation and natural disasters, when the villagers attack the wolf clan house and forcibly offer Ginsen as a bride-sacrifice to the mountain god. Despite Shikunshi allowing her to live, she is still ungrateful and despises Tsuwabuki even more for being happy.
