As Planet Remina approaches, he keeps insisting that Daisuke Kaneishi, one of the astronauts on the probe sent to it, is his own son, explaining the different family name as "Daisuke changing it on purpose". He and his family eventually flee Earth on a rocket ship, and land on Planet Remina.
