Hisoka works for the Death Sweepers company. She teases Hiroyuki for wanting to take a job there with little idea of what the work entails. Out of all the employees, Hisoka is the only one with strong spiritual powers and who can see spirits. She is tasked with transporting the belongings of the deceased to the temple to be properly commemorated and then disposed of. Since she was a child, Hisoka was ostracized for her power and tried to commit suicide multiple times. After she called Death Sweepers to ask how much it would cost for her house to be cleaned up following suicide, Reiji managed to talk her out of another attempt. Now, she doesn't hide the self harm scars on her wrists. She lives with her sister.
