Happy is a pug who's spent his first two years of his life at a pet store, waiting to be picked up yet always being overlooked in favor of other puppies. One day, he is seen by Tetsuo, who steals him in order to not appear suspicious to the police, trying to appear as a regular child walking his dog instead of a runaway. Not to be confused with <a href="https://myanimelist.net/manga/21467/Hoshi_Mamoru_Inu" rel="nofollow">Happy</a> from the first part of the story, who is an Akita Inu.
