Mashiba is the titular "ikemen", a student attending the same university as Kentarou. Two weeks after the death of his girlfriend, Mi-chan, he tells Kentarou that he seems to have been possessed by Mi-chan's spirit. The two begin spending time together, although it is clearly taking a great emotional toll in Mashiba because he is unable to move on from the loss.
