After her brother Lark's death, Shiru took to trying to reach Zaha and tell him the truth about what happened, which wasn't easy since he avoided her. In the mean time she served as an elemental guardian in the regular realms, always keeping an eye open for Zaha and occasionally cleaning up the trouble he started. She eventually managed to tell him and from there on served as a sort of guide to help find his true self.
